Make a movie out of clay with Joel Tonks and Lulu Wulf

Date: 17 January 2024
Time: 2pm-5pm
Where: Platform Arts Hub Blayney
Cost: $5

Due to popularity, this workshop is now offered for kids aged 7-12 years.

Stop motion is an old way to tell a story.

With some basic colours of plasticine, we will create a character, tell a short story, and turn it into an even shorter movie. You’ll be surprised how far the smallest movements get you!

Come along and see what kind of worlds you can create, and maybe start your budding career as a filmmaker!

Joel Tonks is an Orange-based artist, working across painting, ceramics, interactive media and photography. His multifaceted practice explores the intersections between science, art, and everyday life. Lulu Wulf is a Bathurst-based artist and curator, whose paintings explore the relationship between light and colour.

All materials and afternoon tea provided.

Please wear clothes suitable for messy art-making.
